Shantel was born into a situation of poverty. Neither of her parents received education. They are unable to find regular work, so they depend on manual odd jobs throughout the village of Naiberi, Kenya. Sometimes there is no work to be found, and the family goes without any food or basic needs. Shantel needs a sponsor.
